Hello all

Kind regards Tim

Hello Timothy
Yep, either we have 45 lurkers, or some people haven't been online the last 24 hours, also, only 26 nicks are known of those 62.
I'll keep the vote open for another 12 hours, if people consider this to be to little, or to much, reply to this thread.
In the meanwhile, everyone should contact olegil by private mail so he can setup IRC sessions for thursday & friday.
We've been stalling enough, time to get the show on the road & be organised

I am unable to login to the http://amigadev.amigaworld.net/ site, did everyone on this list get added to be able to?

Okay, I have responded ;-)

At work Thurs & Friday but will keep an eye on what's going on.
I am not a coder, have no manegment skills but am an OS4 beta tester and am a major part of Total Amiga magazine and can therefore offer free advertising space within the mag and project awareness (outside of the internet community)
We've been stalling enough, time to get the show on the road & be organised
Yes indeed, wish I could be of more use, but always willing to help out and do whatever I can!

Mick

Mick's post got me thinking, it may be an idea in the future to have a PR/Evangelist person or group that could be the voice of the group (either officially or unofficially). This would help free the other teams from having to respond to forums etc. particularly as any kind of discussion nowadays turns political and time is too precious to take it away from the task in hand.
Oh and a totally OT question, are there any OOo events in the UK this year?

I'd say, screw politics, a PR person would be handy in the near future, and some already volenteered for that.

Hi all,
Sorry for answering such an old mail, i just get a bad conscience here (and it gets even worse reading few of the following posts)
The reason why i post here is that i don't want to leave the list silently and some time the maintainer sees 3 or 4 people are gone and then someone is calling, OO.org for AOS4 is stagnating. That's not my intention.
CO> Yep, either we have 45 lurkers, or some people haven't been online the last CO> 24 hours, also, only 26 nicks are known of those 62.
I'm one of those "lurkers". I'm not involved in anything (testing, coding, gfx). I'm just watching and reading and if this list is going to be a "closed" dev list, i will gladly leave.
I've not voted because i'm not involved in the whole process, so i cannot decide and i don't want to "bend" the vote.
If you want me to leave the list, just delete me or tell me, then i'll unsubscribe. (otoh it's nice to watch a project grow from the beginning and it's growing indeed)
I COULD be one of those beta testers or something, but i don't have the time to provide the needed testing in a way it's meant to be (I'm often away for 7 to 10 days without being able to access my miggy). And most of all, i don't know how to code on Amiga. :-(
So you may add me to the "I have no time" AND "I'm not experienced" :-( Or just kick me out. But it would be great, if i'm allowed to stay.
To the "head honcho" (still don't know what that means: You can, if you still want assign me work (as long as you don't need it immediately done and as long as it has nothing to do with coding (I could cross-check some bugs!)
And i'm truly for being silent the whole time, i'm just not that important to raise my voice here...
My nick is Raziel and my email is Raziel_Nosgoth@web.de
Ciao

Ok, I have voted now. Please be patient with people that can't be on the net all the time :-)
