When should the website go public? Once we have decided on this I will annouce it on Amigaworld.net and place a banner on the site.
I think the mission statement needs better worded, this line "who will realise the project in their spare time" doesn't make any sence to me

Good idea ;-)

Maybe something like "who has time to devote to the project" or something along those lines?
Would like to add that when the site goes public don't forget my offer of free advertising of a pull page (for those less internet aware maybe) within Total Amiga magazine, although we regularly only sell in the region of 600 copies per issue, the people we sell them to tend to be devoted Amiga users rather than your average "passing interest" types! We have subscribers in 20 or so countries too so not to be sniffed at ;-)
