I asked this earlier, before I knew about the voting, : Does anyone have any pertinent questions, concerns, or other issues they feel should be addressed in the opening contact or follow ups?
Now you can post them here to the list if you think it need to be discussed, but I think they should be directed to the poor sod we elect. I just want to make sure we have all the bases covered and be a thorough as possible.

Q- Which version of OO is to be ported? I've seen both 1.X and 2.0 mentioned, while I expect a great deal of code to change in the 2.X versions of OO....so tend to think we should really focus on 2.0
Q- lock in platform targets- which?

As I said before, we should find out how stable the 2.0 source tree is. If it is in flux, we might want to take care about dependencies first before thinking about the actual port, because it would be better in any case to go for 2.x-

AmigaOS 4.0 in any case. OS 3.x at least for some of the stuff that is easily portable. Personally, I don't think that any 3.x system (except for maybe Amithlon) has the required resources to run OOo. Any other system if there are programmers helping out and want to maintain it.
In any case, my focus will be on OS 4 :-)

Taking care of dependencies is a priority even if the code base is stable. If there are enough dependencies which cannot be easily removed, it might well be that we will not begin actual porting of OOo in quite a while.

AmigaOS 4.0 in any case.
This gets my vote too. The OOo port should target AmigaOS 4.0. Subprojects can target anything compatible with AmigaOS 4.0.
(e.g. ISO-C, AmigaOS 3.1 (sans copper stuff etc.))
In any case, my focus will be on OS 4 :-)
Who could have guessed.. :-P
