Hello,
I want some people to come forward with a polished mission statement, and to help DaveyD to volunteer, so who wants to step forward?
Kind regards
Hi Amon_Re,
Consider me still thinking on this subject. Since my last proposal I haven't had any bright ideas on it tho. The current mission statement defines our business/goal, the nature of our project (volunteers) and a few other values. Not sure what else to add/tweak.
Kind regards,
RinceWynd Peter Molenaar

Maybe going into more detail about the goal, and our stance on compability with 3.x, AROS & MOS?

Looking into OpenOffice in detail, I'm wondering if a choice was made (or at least considered) as far as GUI library? One that might have all the elements we need for the porting effort.
If not, I'd like to suggest the following:
http://www.tutok.sk/fastgl/ (OpenGUI) or something similar to that one...it seems fast efficient and not all that much to port (by comparisons to others).

We haven't looked into the GUI part yet, this will be done in a later stage, once most of the dependencies are sorted out.
