Hi Chris,
This weekend, I am wiaiting for some numbers on the current stage of development, anda few other things. Those will be in the article too. I think it should look like an infomercial, well as long as we're emphasizing the right part of the deal so to speak. I'm not trying to sell the idea, or get financial sponsors per se. But I am trying to sell the importance of this project, the usefulness it can have to all Amiga users, the impact on the Amiga community etc etc...
I'll have a 2nd page to fill in, so there will be plenty of space to add those tools and other relevant information. There is a 3rd draft (which it seems you haven't seen) most of the minor mistakes like that Amiga Open OFfice have been fixed in the 3rd draft).

Ok since I haven't seen my other post appear (in the last 1/2 hour), I'm reposting this, just in case. :-).
I have done a second draft with all the corrections so far brought forth by Tony Wyatt. Here's the last draft.

Now if I could get that original Logo from AmigaOpenOffice.org in a bigger format, it would appear much clearer in the article. :-)

I hate to say this but it looks like a full page infomercial. It would be helpful to mention what progress has been made so far. Tools and utilities are mentioned as being needed before the actual porting can start. Tell the reader what some of those tools are and what we have at this time plus maybe what is in progress. Also, mention what codebase is going to be ported. May want to mention that Java is one of the componets and about JAmiga. Oh, the last paragraph has Amiga Open OFfice.org. Other than that it's a good general overview of the project, how to get involved and where to get more info. I think some of this should make it to the website. Along with additional information. Such as what need to be done short term (like the supporting tools and utils), what has been completed, what is in progress. Who are the current active members of the project. What version is the port aimed at.
