I would like to insert a quick note about the problems organising people over different time-zones and by way of a mailing list.
In addition to the fact that some read their mail more seldom than others, there is the fact that a backlog of mail will quickly build up when you do not read your mail.
Taking care of a 50-mail backlog takes both a bit of time and effort in addition to making it easy to forget to reply to a mail. We will have to learn to communicate efficiently as well as we try to organise. At least we have a head honcho now, but there is still much to do and there will undoubtedly be many false starts.
So please, patience, tolerance and no flamewars.
