Hello Peter

I have now examined the csh sources closer and come to the conclusion that even though it will not be very difficult to port the code to OS4, it will be rather pointless. The csh implementation in question lacks a lot of functionality which would probably be needed for all but the simplest of csh scripts.
I will therefore start looking at the tcsh implementation found on aminet to see if this might be more suitable for our needs.
Would it make sense to try to port the Linux tcsh instead of trying to get the "old" tcsh @ aminet running without ixemul?
BTW I have currently a time problem during the week, have to work now for about 10-12 Hours for next 3 month, which does not leave much room for me to do any coding work during the week, so please do not think that I have no interest, I WANT THIS more than anything else :) Maybe the situation clears a bit when we got new employees, but currently I have to do work which normally is done by 3 people :(
Anyway I'm still going through the sourcetree, I want to put a small textfile online this weekend which hopefully has the complete CVS root tree explained, this also could maybe serve as a first basis to get the dependency list complete.
Compiling the sources is still failing, but the errors are moving along the different modules, now I have currently a missing solaris_intel file which has been refered by a makefile, I think I can soon manage it to get the complete source compile at once.
Regards,
