Tony,
It runs well under OS4, I have not found any problems
with csh and Linux
scripts (tested with Kaffe, Cacao and GMP). However, there is a
fundamental crashing problem with the current beta system that has not
been resolved and this makes it impossible to complete a build of any
complexity. Sooner or later the script will crash and it appears as a csh
crash (but isn't).
I am hoping the developers will be able to find and fix this problem
soon. Until this problem is fixed, I cannot proceed with building any of
the above packages.
Is there anyone we can lean on? any help we can provide to get it fixed?
We obviously cant progress if we cant get the Java dependency finished.
BTW, welcome to our new members. Who are they?
