My experience with csh:
It runs well under OS4, I have not found any problems with csh and Linux
scripts (tested with Kaffe, Cacao and GMP). However, there is a fundamental
crashing problem with the current beta system that has not been resolved and
this makes it impossible to complete a build of any complexity. Sooner or
later the script will crash and it appears as a csh crash (but isn't).
I am hoping the developers will be able to find and fix this problem soon.
Until this problem is fixed, I cannot proceed with building any of the above
packages. I do not have a Linux system for cross-compiling and don't want to
go down that road anyway.
