I made it in too ;-)...but no one knows who I am. But I had to join, I just HAD to ;-).
I'm a developer and I'd like to help anyway I can. I see from the mail list name that it's an OS 4 project. Me, right now, I don't have an OS4 capable machine, best I have is WinUAE running Amiga OS 3.1. Unless there's something i don't know about emulating OS4. If so, if you can point me to the right URL to get everything I need I can be setup and ready to go today.
If there's no such thing as an emulator that can run OS4, then I might have a problem helping with the coding...at least for parts of it. Let me know :-)

No, you can't emulate OS4 on a PC, however, SVN and several other modules could be made compatable, perhaps you could be of great help in keeping code backwards compatable

Keep an eye on the list ;)

How far backwards compatible you want to be? I got from 1.0 all the way to 3.1 ;-) got kickstart 3.5 too.
But yeah I'd love to play that role :-). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christophe Ochal" ochal@kefren.be To: openoffice-os4@samfundet.no Sent: Friday, January 07, 2005 1:48 PM Subject: [OO.org-OS4] Re: I'm in

I was thinking mainly 3.x for the parts where it is at all possible
But yeah I'd love to play that role :-).
Cool :)

I'm also here :)
I would like to join as programmer. My main skills are mainly based on database related things (working as Oracle DBA), I have however not much experience in GUI programming. My Amiga Coding skills are medium (forgot much of it) but I'm sure I can go back in full effect once it started here :)
