Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is already an OS4 port, from May this year. I don't think it has been released, though.

I already have ported Python 2.4.1. I intended to make a release over the weekend, but it seems I don't get around to it yet. Well, yeah, no need to duplicate efforts. The only thing that my port cannot do at the moment is load external native modules, but I am still working on that.
